If your parents or guardian have applied for PAN Card on your behalf when you are below 18 years then it means you have Minor PAN Card. Minor PAN Card doesn’t have applicant’s passport size photo printed on it. It just mentions MINOR in place of it. It also has the signature of the parent or guardian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When a Minor PAN is converted to a Major PAN Card, the photo and signature of the applicant will be included. On the actual card, the PAN holder’s details are printed. It comprises the PAN holder’s name, date of birth, and father’s name, as well as the PAN number. Most importantly, it features a hologram, which ensures that the bearer has a real ID evidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. Original signature of a Member of Parliament on a certificate of identification.<\/li>
  3. Original bank certificate on letterhead from the branch (along with the name and stamp of the issuing officer) with the applicant’s fully certified picture and bank account number.<\/li>
  4. Driver’s licence.<\/li>
  5. Card for the Central Government’s Health Scheme.<\/li>
  6. Ration card with the applicant’s photo on it.<\/li>
  7. Original certificate of identification signed by a member of the Legislative Assembly.<\/li>
  8. Original certificate of identification signed by a Gazetted officer.<\/li>
  9. Original certificate of identification signed by a Municipal Councillor.<\/li>
  10. The applicant’s photo appears on the pensioner card.<\/li>
  11. Passport.<\/li>
  12. Voter ID \/ Election Card<\/li>
  13. The central government, state governments, and public sector undertakings all issue photo identification cards.<\/li>
  14. Photo card for the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme.<\/li>
  15. License to bear arms.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    2. Certificate of Marriage<\/li>
    3. Aadhaar Card is a unique identification card issued by the government of India.<\/li>

    5. Ex-Servicemen Photo card for the Contributory Health Scheme.<\/li>
    6. The central government, state governments, and public sector undertakings all issue photo identification cards.<\/li>
    7. Passport.<\/li>
    8. The government issues a certificate of domicile.<\/li>
    9. Affidavit showing the date of birth, sworn before a magistrate.<\/li>
    10. Order for payment of the pension.<\/li>
    11. Certificate of matriculation or a mark sheet from a recognised board.<\/li>
    12. Card for the Central Government’s Health Scheme.<\/li>
    13. Driver’s licence.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Address Proof (Any one):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Driving License <\/li>
      2. Aadhaar Card<\/li>
      3. A bill for a landline or broadband connection that is less than three months old.<\/li>
      4. A credit card statement that is less than three months old is acceptable.<\/li>
      5. Original certificate from the employer.<\/li>
      6. Voter ID \/ Election Card<\/li>
      7. A bank account statement that is less than three months old is acceptable.<\/li>
      8. Original certificate of identification signed by a member of the Legislative Assembly.<\/li>
      9. Original signature of a Member of Parliament on a certificate of identification.<\/li>
      10. The most recent water bill is less than three months ago.<\/li>
      11. The applicant’s address is recorded in the post office passbook.<\/li>
      12. Spouse’s passport (husband\/wife).<\/li>
      13. Statement from a depository account that is less than three months old.<\/li>
      14. The most recent order of property tax assessment.<\/li>
      15. The most recent electricity bill is less than three months old.<\/li>
      16. Gas connection card, book, or piped gas bill for the general public.<\/li>
      17. The government issues a certificate of domicile.<\/li>
      18. Passport.<\/li>
      19. Original certificate of identification signed by a Gazetted officer.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        1. Enter your existing Minor PAN Card number and select the PAN Card proof.<\/li>
        2. Enter the full name of the Applicant. This name will be printed on your Major PAN Card.<\/li>
        3. Choose ID Proof & DOB Proof as applicable.<\/li>
        4. Select the proof of address now. Note that your Major PAN Card will be sent to the address shown in the address proof.<\/li>
        5. Enter your phone number and email address.<\/li>
        6. Submit the form when you’ve finished it.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          You will be redirected to Verify your details page as below:<\/p>\n\n\n

          Submit your documents and then proceed with the payment for application online. Your application will be forwarded for processing when payment is received. In general, it takes 5 to 7 working days to process a minor to major PAN Card application. However, you will receive also e-PAN Card in the email address provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
